Job Description:
The role of the Worship Director/Pastor supports the vision of Impact Family Church to reach people with the Good News message of Jesus Christ and help them become fully devoted followers of Him.
Responsibilities:
Music
-
Plan weekly services that combine intentionality and anointed worship for the services and gatherings.

Lead worship for non-Sunday gatherings as requested and available.

Ensure musical quality, identify weak areas, and build and develop the worship and audio team to fulfill the vision of the ministry.

Create margin for personal musical growth.

Cultivate a culture of creativity and artistry for Impact Family Church.
Pastoral
-
Shepherd and disciple worship team members and congregation members.
-
Connect with key ministry leaders and create opportunities to grow.
-
Create culture of discipleship and servant leadership.
-
Identify future leaders and invest in their development.
-
Connect with congregation members as needed/requested.

Participate in monthly leadership meetings as well as other Impact Family Church events.
Admin
-
Schedule musician/vocalists/tech for all services in Planning Center Online (PCO) or CCB.

Create service production and load on Ableton Live for all services and events.
-
Load ProPresenter for music slides for all services and events.
-
Maintain credit card report/worship ministry budget.
-
Ensure all charts/MP3s/resources are available and organized for team members in PCO.

Lead, plan, and schedule worship for church gatherings.

Maintain instruments/equipment that belongs to the church and schedule repairs as needed.
Tech
-
Setup stage for Sunday and any other events.

Load and program click tracks/pads for all services.

Communicate with sound/production concerning weekly services.

Work with Production team to create an environment to usher people to God.
Qualifications / Expectations:

Model personal integrity and devotion to Christ.

Strong vocal and instrumental ability.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Strong time management skills

At least two years of experience leading adults in worship.

Proven competence and skill in the use of music, sound, and media to create an atmosphere of worship.

Experience as a ministry leader responsible for recruiting, organizing, and developing worship teams, selecting music, scheduling rehearsals and planning worship events.

Proficiency in one or more lead musical instruments and competence in a variety of styles of musical performance preferred.
